We encourage you before you do anything is to go ahead and file a provisional patent application (low cost to you) before even talking to anyone. If you reside outside the USA, we recommend you to check with the patent office of the country of residence and the equivalent procedure. In Algeria, please contact the INAPI office. In other part of the world, please check appropriate patent office, for reference visit the following site. Elsewhere This process will guarantee you at least a date of deposition and make a bit easier for one year to talk to others about your idea under NDA if possible. Please check with your employer if your employment contract does not conflict with your filing. In many cases employers give wavers in case of no conflict of interest. Once this done, please contact us and we will try to put you in contact whenever possible with people with expertise in your field, with people that have gone this road before to give you advise if needed.
